You live in western B.C. It's the morning, dew covers the leaves, light fog stretches over the river, the sun's rays caress the sky, and you, completely refreshed by the night's sleep, go out for a walk into the forest. You walk for a while, until you are completely surrounded by the vegetation. You sit down to smell the morning air when suddenly it hits you: a pungent, rotten odor. Then, directly in front of you, you see a brown mass. You are scared, thinking it is a bear. The mass gets up, revealing a strange two-legged creature which had been crouched down. Its face is almost human-like, except for the somewhat squashed face like that of most large primates. Two brown eyes stare right into yours. You calm down, feeling the creature's peacefulness. Then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, it turns back and disapears into the forest. After several minutes of standing there, awestruck, you realize that you have just encountered the Sasquatch.
08/27/02 Wow, that didn't take time ;) Anyway, just to let you know I have a new store open on the net! Just scroll down and click on "Joe's Cryptozoology Store". Enjoy!
08/26/02 Yellow again folks, just to let you know that updates, though promised for this summer, will be postponed until later, considering I'll be busy like heck working to get ready for post-secondary studies. But fear not, you never know if I'll add stuff anyway; besides, I'm still very active in the internet-based cryptozoological world: you can find me at the forum at Cryptozoology.com, so you can contact me anytime. Also, I'm busy working on a tie-in to this site, which will be used to accomodate an association of cryptozoologists in Ontario (amateur and professionals alike). Until then, see you later!
