Meet The Webmaster
Joseph Gagné is the canuck behind the site. His interest in cryptozoology sprouted when he was a young child, after reading a short magazine article about the abominable snowman and the sasquatch. Following this, he soon read all of the books on the topic at the local library. Needless to say, cryptozoology soon became one of his childhood interests among other things like dinosaurs, bears, etc.
Today, Joe enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and practising such outdoor sports such as camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, etc. His interests include biology, french-canadian culture (visit his new site, Franco-Flip, at http://francoflip.8m.com), folklore, and of course, cryptozoology.
Joe hopes to study biology at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, in about a year.
Why "Joe's" Cryptozoology Pages?
Think of this title as "Joe's Bar" (though the irony of this comparison is that I don't drink!), where anyone can feel at home. People can submit articles or help along, as long as what is submitted is acceptable and is relevant to the site (notice the help I've had from many generous sources). And of course, any submitted material posted on the site will always have 100% credit to the sender. Obviously, I will still be having a major presence on the site; after all, this is Joe's Cryptozoology Pages! I just hope that "Joe's Cryptozoology Pages" will be a popular hang-out for people thirsty for more knowledge on the topic.
Where Is This Site Based At?
Joe currently resides in Chapleau, Ontario. This part of Ontario is known for its eastern cougars, Old Yellow Top, the Windigo, white moose, and of course, Shania Twain ;-) (Chapleau is a two hour drive from Timmins). As for technically, this site is hosted by Freeservers at www.freeservers.com.

This site has had the help of many people, so if you wish to use any of their contributions, please contact them, or if their e-mail is not mentionned, just write to me and I'll gladly forward any requests. As for my material, please write to me about it. I've never found any reason to refuse to anyone, but I do like to keep track of what is being used and what is not.
